Seasoning marketing professional, Temi Oyedepo has joined Pernod Ricard Nigeria, a top brand operating in the Premium spirits segment, as its Trade Marketing Manager (Mainstream Portfolio).

In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing well thought out marketing strategies, like product launches and loyalty programs, that increase success rate and brand perception.

Pernod Ricard Nigeria, a leading spirits distributor of premium brands was established in 2010 to cater for the Nigerian Market. The company is in charge of importing products and the local marketing development for all brands in the Pernod Ricard portfolio.

Pernod Ricard brand portfolios include: ABSOLUT Vodka, Ricard pastis, Ballantine’s, Chivas Regal, Royal Salute and The Glenlivet Scotch whiskies, Jameson Irish whiskey, Martell cognac, Havana Club rum, Beefeater gin, Kahlúa and Malibu liqueurs, Mumm and Perrier-Jouët champagnes, as well Jacob’s Creek, Brancott Estate (formerly Montana), Campo Viejo and Graffigna wines.

Remarkably, Temi is a trade marketer, and salesman with years of progressive experience in business and trade development including sales management, business analysis, consumer & trade marketing, capability development and route to market (design, implementation & sustainability) in the FMCG industry.

Also, he has transitioned across several functional roles including business analysis, sales management, and marketing.

Temi started his career as Brand Ambassador at Nokia Technologies where he was responsible for representing the Nokia brand on and off campus.

After that, he joined Interswitch Limited as Business Support Partner where he was responsible for P.O.S terminal prepping and configuration, deployment, maintenance and support, installations, on-site maintenance, remote and telephone assistance.

He later joined Great Brands Nigeria Ltd. where he held several promotions and left as Senior Business Analyst. Thereafter, he moved to British American Tobacco as RTM Implementation Manager. Later moved to Niyya Food & Drinks Ltd where he moved the rank to the position of National Trade Marketing Manager before joining Pernod Ricard.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the NDA Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the Lagos State University.
