Fidelity Bank Rewards 13 Customers with N19m to Raise Saving Culture MWorld FEATURES, NEWS Fidelity Bank Plc recently splashed 13 customers with N19 million in the second monthly draw of “Get Alert in Million Reloaded” promo in various regions of the country. The bank’s Managing Director, Mr Nnamdi Okonkwo, said during the promo draw in Lagos that the initiative was the seventh in the series of promos organised by the bank to reward customers for their loyalty and patronage. Okonkwo said that the promo tagged “Get Alert In Millions Promo Reloaded” was in line with Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) financial inclusion policy. He added that the promo was introduced to raise awareness on the need for Nigerians to imbibe saving culture. Okonkwo, who was represented by the Executive Director, Shared Services and Products, Mrs Chijioke Ugochukwu, said that the promo underscored the bank’s determination to improve the standard of living of its customers amid harsh economic situations. He said that the initiative was in line with CBN’s financial inclusion policy to ensure that financial services were available to the unbanked and under-banked in the country. He added that “this is a very important time of the year, the amount we are giving this December is the highest ever. “We have 250 branches and we want to take this message of prosperity to our fields to create awareness. We hope the message will go far and wide.” Apart from the monthly draw, bi-monthly star prize of N3 million each were also won by Abdullateef Gaffar of Idumagbo branch Lagos and Osondu Udechukwu of Kachia Road, Kaduna branch respectively. Other lucky cash prize winners for the monthly draw included Emmanuel Ehizibue and Chris Oziogu (South-South), Ethel Duru and Nwosu Uchenna (South-East). Mbui Uso and Olofe Ayo (South-West) who won N1 million each. Chizoba Nwaoba also won N1 million, while Samuel Oruchalu got N2 million from Lagos region, among other winners. The winners emerged from transparent randomisation process which was witnessed by the bank’s control team and officials from Consumer Protection Council (CPC) and other regulators and stakeholders.
