Airtel Flags Off Airtel Touching Life Season 4 To Inspire Underprivileged Nigerians MWorld FEATURES, NEWS Leading telecommunications service provider, Airtel Nigeria has flagged off entry for its life changing initiative, Airtel Touching Life Season 4 to inspire more underprivileged Nigerians and inspire other relevant organizations in the country to form the habit of doing good. The multiple awards winning programme is an initiative of the Airtel Nigeria to restore hope to the hopeless and provide succor for the poorest of the poor in the society. Speaking with journalists at a media briefing in Lagos, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Mr. Segun Ogunsanya described the project as a great inspiration to the organization and Nigeria. He said the programme since its inception in 2015 has continued to create positive impacts in the lives of individuals, families and communities in the country. He said Airtel was committed to inspiring more Nigerians with the new edition. He said: “Few months ago we had a debate internally whether we should do this again. We were a bit concerned about the economic situation in the country. But I said to myself and my colleagues agreed with me that there is no excuse for not doing well. This is why we are continuing with the fourth edition, Season four,” he said. Ogunsanya said it will be unfulfilling for Airtel Nigeria to stop the project with the impacts made during the last three seasons. He said the previous seasons were an inspiration to many communities, families and individuals. He encouraged Nigerians to nominate causes, projects, individuals and communities that deserved to be supported and send them via Email or the short code: 367. He urged individuals and other relevant organizations to take a clue from Airtel Nigeria by supporting the less privilege to reduce poverty in the country. Airtel during the third edition assisted the Ainna family with a new house and provided full scholarship up to university level for the only surviving child of a family that lost a house and four children in a fire incident in Ogun state. The family was recently blessed with a set of twins in the new home.
